CS2 Update (Jul 15): Workshop Map Refresh

TL;DR

  • No gameplay, weapon, or economy changes. This patch only refreshes four community Workshop maps to their latest versions and ships stability/security fixes.
  • If you don't play the rotating Workshop map pool, this patch doesn't affect you at all. No Active Duty map was touched.
  • Nothing here requires re-checking any lineup, official-map or otherwise.

Maps

Four Workshop maps that already rotate through Casual, Deathmatch, or Wingman got pulled up to their latest Workshop Collaboration Network builds: Fachwerk, Boulder, Shelter, and El Dorado. These are community-made maps outside the Active Duty pool, not the official maps this site covers with lineups — so this is a version bump for players who queue casual/DM, not a change anyone building smoke lineups needs to know about.

Valve didn't publish specifics beyond "updated to the latest Workshop version," and pointed to each map's own Workshop changelog for detail. None of this touches Dust II, Mirage, Inferno, Nuke, Ancient, Anubis, Overpass, Train, or Cache.

Everything else

The rest of the patch is "various stability and security fixes" — Valve's standard catch-all for backend hardening, with no player-facing detail given.

Skins and economy

No changes. No new collections, no Armory rotation, no drop-rate changes in this patch.

"Fachwerk: Updated to the latest version from the Community Workshop... Boulder: Updated to the latest version from the Community Workshop... Various stability and security fixes."
